Molten wax penetrates deep into the cardboard, and after impregnation, the cardboard cools and solidifies, forming a uniform coating that provides waterproofing. This is a true molecular-level hydrophobic layer that not only blocks liquid water but also prevents water vapor from seeping back into the cardboard. After applying such a wax layer, the cardboard boxes can still maintain their flexibility and strength, and will not break easily or be unable to withstand heavy pressure like ordinary cardboard boxes.
